Exploring the Business at the Masters

🏌‍♂️ The 89th Edition of The Masters Tournament kicked off this week with 95 entrants competing for the PGA TOUR's first championship of the year. With a purse of $20m, high-spending and luxury is not uncommon in Augusta.


🎫 The club's premier hospitality experience - titled "Map & Flag" - debuted a second floor to the clubhouse, with weekly badges selling for $17,000 each (2,500 badges were sold - you do the math!)


🤝 Bank of America joins AT&T, IBM and Mercedes-Benz AG as a champion partner of the tournament, with each sponsor hosting various events and experiences for fans and clients.


🧸 Masters' Teddy Bears, that retail for $250, are reselling online for thousands. The Masters' branding on any apparel draws a huge crowd!
